SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Spillway shares their stunning new single, "Honest Song"

Coming out of Woodstock in New York State is Spillway with their raw new single, "Honest Song". The charming new cut is in collaboration with Calica, and if this is what happens when these two acts come together then we need a full-on album as it's simply gorgeous. simply gorgeous Vocally it's one of the most tender things I've heard recently, and when you're deep in the song you half forget that this is a sub-three-minute cut as you're seemingly taken away from reality and are immersed. The instrumentation on "Honest Song" is very simplistic in nature, but incredibly effective. The acoustic guitar is at the forefront of the single, with a sliding country-sounding tone wallowing away in the background which adds more depth and flavour to the song. Also mixed into the song are some haunting backing vocals, and with goosebumps left on your skin you'll certainly be heading to the playlist this track in a heartbeat when it's finished. The be...

Coming out of the music scene in Copenhagen is Benjamin Rajani with his new single, "Mánakvøld." Translated into "Monday" and "Moon Night" the name of the track is rather fitting, as this new single sounds like the perfect track to ease into the week with, and also for chilling out to. ... a sublime track to sink into no matter what The song is in Faroese (a language from the Faroe Islands) and even though I know a couple of European languages sadly I'm not too familiar with this one, but I can easily tell you that there's plenty of emotion behind it. Spoiler warning... Get ready for Weathership's epic new album, "Splendid Beast", as this is a nine-track collection of tracks that'll be sure to get you hooked on their sound. The whole album is a concept that takes the listener on an exploration of life’s greatest duality, fear and love - with that in mind lets head right in and get stuck into the first trio of tracks. The Teeside-based quintet did not hang about one bit with the first track on the album "Golden Age", as it's one incredibly atmospheric affair with over a minute of sonic sounds interwoven with guitar sounds that are kissed with reverb. Vocally it's very dark and showcases the band perfectly if you ask me. The following two tracks "The Blue" and "Through The Fog" go into a different direction with the former sounding almost like a Wild Beasts song with the percussion and charming bassline seemingly seducing me in an instant. Coming out of the LA scene is The Afro Nick and his debut single, "Get There Before Noon (LA mix)" - I say debut as it appears to be the only track on Spotify. ... a vibrant fusion of indie, alternative, and psychedelic rock As soon as we enter the track, we're greeted by his warm and embracing sound, pulling us into its unique atmosphere immediately. There's a very art-rock-sounding guitar with some angular tones; combine that with his direct, emotive vocals, and the track starts to work its way deeply into your conscious. It's quite psychedelic in places too, and when the chorus comes it elevates the track even more with cascading drums, expansive guitar solos, and a euphoric sense of melody that lingers long after the music fades. The Sunmills reveals the chunky new tune, "Rock and Roll"

The Sunmills are based out of Utah, and the band has recently dropped their chunky new tune, "Rock and Roll". Now, with a title like that, it has to be a minimum belter, and the lads have not let us down on that front. ... Queen flair meets 90s grit in glorious style. Right from the start, it has that feel that you're going to be vibing hard with it, and the vocals alone got us feeling that way. It's very Queen but with a modern twist to it, with the pacing of the song ensuring that you could happily dance to this on the very first listen. Add in some 90s rock tones to proceedings later into the track and what you have is a song that feels equally fresh and yet nostalgic at the same time. Coming out of Puerto Rico is Silvermouse, they're a duo who focus on some mind-bending music that really gets you fully immersed. ... mind-bending music that really gets you fully immersed. The latest offering is titled "Tripgnosis" and it has one heck of an intro, lasting for over two minutes you feel as one with the track, almost sucking you into a dreamlike state. Once the track fully becomes alive with the percussion, it's then you're hit in the face with the realisation that you're deep within the belly of "Tripgnosis". It's a fully instrumental track, lasting close to seven minutes long and with some tribal instruments thrown into the mix it's certainly going to leave a lasting impression on you. Talk In Code return with new single, "More Than Friends"

Swindon's Talk In Code has recently returned with new single, "More Than Friends", marking this as their first since " Harder To Breathe " came out on October last year. "More Than Friends" blends shimmering indie-pop with a subtle synth-pop underbelly, giving a big whiff of the 1980s. ... a shimmering indie-pop gem laced with dreamy synths and soaring melodies that radiate pure 80s charm. Drogheda-based James Bellew returns with "Summer’s Last Embrace", which is the first track in this genre for him after 25 years. The new offering is very nostalgic in places with charismatic vocals, yet also filled with modern bedroom-pop sounds that give you this sun-kissed anthem feel. ... sun-kissed, nostalgic bedroom-pop anthem that effortlessly fuses indie , rock , and modern synth-pop vibes. "Summers Last Embrace" for me hits its peak in the chorus, the vocals seemingly float right into your head, and the percussion is so good you'll be bouncing along to it within moments of hearing it. Re:O unleashes their latest tune, "Crimson Desire"

London-based band, Re:O, have recently unleashed their latest tune, "Crimson Desire", which is their ninth track since they started releasing music in 2020. First starting out within the synth scene, they've developed their sound along the way, evolving into the dark rock sound you hear now! ... a heavy, anthemic evolution into darker rock territory that is suiting them well! "Crimson Desire" has quite the impactful opening, with some glitchy bass and a sweeping sound that emerges from the gloomy depths. Teh cut then bursts into life with a chunky guitar dominating proceedings, but it's when the vocals hit you in the first verse that you'll feel the urge to stay for the full duration. For me, this sounds a bit like the new version of Linkin Park, mixed with ethereal rock vocals that Amy Lee is known for.
