Formerly 'Flexability', The Event hope to take a new direction and pursue a more mature type of writing and recording. Still with catchy surf pop tunes, the boys hope to engage the audience with a spectacle of a live show. , now under a new name and a new direction in music the band (same people) is back with a new track.
See the light is a Pop-Rock song with a hint of Surf and Tropical thrown into the mix, you can tell they are maturing with every song they write and this one trumps 'Waves' (which was also previously a 'Track of the week') I am looking forward to more music if they continue along these lines. They have already supported big Indie band under this name, The Kabeedies! In all honestly think this song can be the start of a good future for 'The Event', they are supporting 'Futures' in Portsmouth soon and with this sound who knows what people will end up liking them! Maybe a record deal is on the horizon.
