'Indie' music is dominating the BBC Sound of 2013 longlist this year, we all know how long it's been since the likes of Bloc Party, Editors, Wombats, Foals and fellow major Indie bands were dominating the airwaves.
It looks like that next year is going to be a big year for guitar music, and as per usual we've been egging on the bands for a long time! The 'Indie' bands in the list this year are, Chvrches, Haim, King Krule, Kodaline, Little Green Cars, Palma Violets, Peace, Savages and Tom Odell.
