Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park has slammed Indie and Indie-Rock saying that "There's too much music like CHVCHES and Haim or Vampire Weekend."
In an interview with NOISEY he discusses why he's not a fan about our genre and says it all sounds the same, which is a bit far fetched as we can easily say that about all 'heavy' music.
He did go on to say - "No disrespect, but for me to make that stuff was kind of out of the question. I stepped back and said, 'What’s the thing I want to hear that nobody else is making, and what’s the thing that we are uniquely positioned to make?'" - So at least he isn't a massive plank!
