Nirvana have reunited for the first time in 22 years with Joan Jett on vocals doing a great job of stepping into Mr Cobain's shoes! St. Vincent also performed with the band on "Heart Shaped Box" in a venue with a capacity of only 200 last night too! It was a secret/unannounced how at St. Vitus in Greenpoint Brooklyn,
following the 2014 Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at
Barclays Center last night.
Lorde also popped up last night with the band to perform the "In Utero" track "All Apologies" as well as seeing Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon playing with the band. Hopefully this might spur on the Grunge band to reform and to tour again... we live in hope!
