We've got some amazing news for fans of The Libertines. The London band have just signed a record deal with Virgin EMI on Ko Si Chang Island (Pete Doherty is currently in rehab in Thailand). The band also announced that they're planning to release a new album next year, which will be the first since their eponymous LP which dates back to 2004.
"After everything we have been through The Albion sails on course again, I couldn't be more excited.", Carl Barat said.
The band regrouped for their first live shows in four years this summer.
