You all should know by now who The Away Days are, they're a four-piece band from Istanbul who formed in retaliation of the Government. Since then they've gone on and stuck around and they've started to get plaudits from all over the world. Today marks the release day for their latest single "Best Rebellious", which is more of a sombre affair compared to their previous releases in 2014.
This is a great start to 2015 for the band, and while speaking to lead vocalist - Can - the other day they have their sights set high for this year. Personally, after hearing the 'other' side of the band in this song, I can see them going even further afield this year and reaching new audiences. Having already played with Wild Beasts, Savages and most recently Owen Pallet. This song shoes a softer side of The Away Days, a real chillout track to play in those late evenings, listen to it and give them a like, they'll be on your lips this year, we just know it.
