We've been holding off for the 'Track of the week' post for an extra day for a good reason... Pixel Fix are back and they bring a brand new track called "I Want You The Same", which comes after months of hard-work behind the scenes. The track heralds a new era for the band, with even sharper production than ever it's no wonder they're getting played by BBC Radio 1 an awful lot as of late.
They've also now started to create some more upbeat melodies than their previous tracks, with some stunning vocal effects in the latter third of the track. The usual samples are there, keep an ear out for what sounds like vinyl scratching and washed out spacey noises which sounds like a comet whooshing by. There is no doubt that this track will be pushing the trio to new heights, they play their first ever headline London date this December 7th.
