Leyla Romanova unveils the cinematic new single, "Lettres sous la pluie"

Leyla Romanova has recently revealed her latest single, "Lettres sous la pluie", a French language track which blends together cinematic acoustic sounds, brushed indie-folk and alt-pop.

... a stunningly atmospheric, James Bond-ready masterpiece.

Hailing from Moscow originally, Leyla draws on her expansive musical background, with her song weaving intimate vocal textures with stunning orchestral sensibilities. The track is filled with delicate guitar moments, a decent layering of organic percussion, all alongside her absolutely stunning voice. It's very atmospheric, and the strings alone certainly add more mood to the song, to the point where it sounds like a track that can open up a James Bond epic.

With her work getting her GRAMMY longlisted, there is no denying that she has the talent, and even though this is entirely in French, we leaned towards it like a Parisian to a coffee shop and a pastry. Just flawless, stunning and deeply emotive.
