Listen to Boniface's synth-soaked release

Named after a neighbourhood in Winnipeg, Canada, Boniface is going to be your new favourite pop band.

Fronted by Micah Visser, the mastermind behind the band, the quartet have now signed to Transgressive Records and that comes as no surprise. Their M83-style sound is perfect for those sunny days and nights or for mood lifting - it's soaked in rhythmic synths, pop choruses and a heavy slab of glistening guitar chords. If the colour Gold had a sound, it might just sound like 'Phantom Limbs'.

Whether it makes you want to dance, throw your arms in the air or just sit back and enjoy a nice cold drink, Boniface's ability to make you feel something is what music should do, and it is done in a way which hits you so aggressively in the face from second one, but it's with such warmth and in the most welcoming way.
