Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have today released title single from their forthcoming EP, "Blue Moon Rising". The opening few lines reminds us a little bit of "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King, however it still is a beautiful opening to the new cut from Mr Gallagher.
Noel says of the single: "How it manages to combine the influences of Metallica, The Jesters Of Malice, Mantovani, Robinson Crusoe as well as Bob Marley AND The Wailers is literally beyond me... oh, and it’s not about City by the way." - sure.
