Way back in the 2019 'Sounds of...' list we had Sea Girls in at #18, but since then the band have really grown and have a load of their tunes on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X. The band are really going from strength to strength this year with the release of a string of singles, "Open Up Your Head", "Damage Done" and "Violet", with the band getting a serious amount of plays on Spotify and views on YouTube.
With a UK-wide tour ready to go for April and a new track released today (15th Jan 2020), the band are clearly not resting at all, they're going all in and playing at such venues like The Ritz in Manchester and Roundhouse in London, clearly highlighting their aspirations for this year. At no point do they take away from who, and what, they are; it feels nothing less than a turning point for the quartet who bare more than they have done so on previous releases, and that's something we love about bands these days, consistently good and fresh. 2020 is going to be a good'un for them, that's for sure!
