Lyena have today released their new punky and angular track "Headlines". The trio from Hackney are a rising act on the London scene, forming in 2018 they took 2019 by storm and got a load of new fans along the way.
"Headlines" is a crunching track with some politics mixed into the lyrics, thick basslines with meaty guitar hooks makes them sound like the offspring of Royal Blood and The White Stripes. The track is about the 'clickbait' headlines that is all over social media channels and their anger with people who think it's gospel.
The post-punk band have delivered here quite a high octane second single, with lots of good points to shake a stick at. It's a thrilling cut from one of East London's new punk-rockers, it won't be too long before you'll see them on the big stages, mark my words.
