Bristol's Agata reveals sonic new single "For Sale"

Bristol-based singer-songwriter Agata has recently revealed her new single, "For Sale". The artist is originally from Poland and since she's been living in Bristol she's performed at some festivals pre-Covid, such as Larmer Tree, Dot to Dot, and Bristol Harbour Festival.

Agata has only got a trio of singles currently out for your listening pleasure, but as you're soon going to find out it's more about quality rather quantity.

It's a fantastic piece of art and with the production values being as high as they are we're expecting more great things from Agata in the not too distant future.

The song is a part of a wider narrative, it is being released to accompany a documentary about the recent women's rights protests that have been happening all over her native country. Also, it's to raise more awareness of LGBT+ issues that Poland is facing at the moment.

Regarding the song itself it opens with a warm and gentle synth, with it building as the time ticks on, by adding some drums and distorted beats to help give the track some atmosphere.

Her vocals on "For Sale" are just sublime, from the dark tones at the start of the cut right to the end where her voice is soaring above it all, capturing your ears and holding you for ransom.

If you're a fan of London Grammar, production values of Mansionair and the textured music of Wet then Agata's music is going to be perfect for you.
