Chicago's Koalra has revealed their hazy and atmospheric new track "Torture", which acts as the second single lifted off of their upcoming album "Into the Everything".
With the album coming out on April the 2nd we have plenty of time to sink our teeth into this new cut, and if you like your dreamy psychedelic rock or washed-out shoegaze then this is going to be for you.
Sitting in at just a smidge over three minutes long the track is well-paced with some rushing drum patterns towards the end, effect-laden guitars that are perfectly washed out with atmosphere and vocals that send you to a dream world.
Speaking about how the track came to be, the band said "The single along with the album was conceived, written and mostly recorded in an RV while traveling through the national forests across the US.". So no wonder it sounds so big and grand like the places they travelled through! What the band has made here is a track that'll have you coming back for more.
