Point Lobo shares charming new single "Broken Parts"

Los Angeles based act Point Lobo has today shared his charming new single "Broken Parts", which is the Californian's first since 2020's "Low Flame". The project is the brainchild of Miles Senzaki, who has been the drummer for the hip-hop group The Pharcyde, which is maybe why this track is as smooth as James Bond ordering a Martini.

The tune is lifted off of his new EP titled "Tacoma Narrows", and is due to be released June 23rd.

What Miles has done here is blend a few sub-genres to make something clean, crisp, and full of body.

We've got plenty of gorgeous aesthetics in the cut, dreamy guitar tones lace the track, mixed in with some lo-fi guitar-work later in the track and some nods to the psychedelic scene of the 1980s by the sounds of it. What Miles has done here is blend a few sub-genres to make something clean, crisp, and full of body.

With Miles writing and composing music for a whole plethora of artists his work has found its way onto The Daily Show on Comedy Central and even for the legendary Adult Swim. There is no musical genre that Miles hasn't touched upon, and yet this new slice of joy is showing everyone he definitely is up there with the best of them.
