THE ISLAS drop majestic new single "All The Same" featuring Emily Parish

Norwich quartet THE ISLAS today has dropped their charming new single "All The Same", which also is featuring Emily Parish on guest vocals.

The band have already had their previous work spun on BBC Radio 1 and on BBC Introducing too, combine that with support slots for The Amazons, Fickle Friends, Anteros and much more besides that they've built up a solid fanbase in and around the Norwich area

It's such a breathtaking masterpiece

The song reminds us strongly of The Maccabees towards the end mixed in with some Wild Beasts elements. The track has some captivating vocals from Nathan all the way through, and when Emily's vocals come in the track goes from charming to tender. It's such a breathtaking masterpiece surrounded by my majestic guitar elements, drums that sound like a heartbeat on a first date, and towards the end we've even got some haunting backing vocals adding to the atmosphere.

Speaking about the new single Nathan  Baverstock explains - "The track was written in the depths of isolation during the Covid pandemic. I was so lost, so scared of what was next for me and not having any direction in life. And I remember sitting down and penning these lyrics, it felt quite sombre but it felt like a kind of cleanse. I’m so pleased Emily performed on this song, she did an incredible job to help build that emotion and feel".

This is the second song lifted from their debut EP, and with such a gorgeous track teasing the EP for us we know for sure we will be revisiting THE ISLAS very soon.
