Eddie Cohn shares the emotionally strong new single, "Weight of the World"

Eddie Cohn’s "Weight of the World" is a thoughtful and emotionally resonant track. It opens with his powerful vocals set against a crisp acoustic guitar, immediately drawing you in. On this release, the previous single is also included as a B-side, so if you’re listening to the single version, there’s an added bonus track waiting once this one ends.

... a slow-burning, cinematic track that builds beautifully.

Focusing on the title track, it blends cinematic guitar hooks with a fresh percussion style, all interwoven with dark, reverb-laden textures and a sizzling bassline. The arrangement feels rich and layered without ever losing its emotional core.

For me, the track truly comes to life in the second half. Around the 82-second mark, it expands into something far bigger than expected, shifting from intimate to anthemic in a way that’s both surprising and captivating. It’s the kind of song that teases and grips you, holding your attention with every passing moment.

Following that surge, it pulls back into a cinematic passage filled with moody violins and, once again, Eddie’s striking vocals. The final 30 seconds deliver one last flourish - an ending that lingers and leaves you eager to explore more of his work. Fortunately, you won’t have to look far, as Eddie Cohn proves himself to be a truly compelling singer-songwriter.
