Callum Spencer has recently released his emotive new single, "Getaway", which is the opening track to his EP - also titled "Getaway".
It's the fourth track the Manchester singer-songwriter has released this year, and with it being the opening track to the EP I'm sure he released this last for a reason. Mainly to build up hype but personally, I think it's the biggest track on the EP. We've got expansive guitars drenched in reverb, delicate percussion with even some strings adding to the atmosphere.
He's had love from BBC Introducing in the past, getting their coveted 'Record of the Week' title, and he's also been featured in Spotify UK's New Music Friday playlist. With comparisons to Ben Howard and Sam Fender evident to see, it sounds like he's embracing it and is now starting to turn in some truly epic and anthemic tunes.
