Brisbane' finest Alta Falls have recently revealed their sonic and rather anthemic new single, "The Fire". The song is the title track off their debut EP, and also is the last to be released.
If you take this single as a snapshot of what the duo is capable of then you're in safe hands, as all of their previous pieces of work have been up there with the best.
"The Fire" is partly both euphoric and nostalgic, with the euphoric elements coming from the soaring guitars and shimmering synths in the background. Regarding the nostalgic half of the track, we find ourselves looking into the past here, with the sound striking a strong resemblance to that of the early 2010's.
With a strong EP (which includes a quintet of singles) under their belts already they're certainly on course to be a household name in Australia any time soon.
