HOLMES shares dazzling debut single, "If It Was Up To Me"

Hailing from Guilford, Surrey in England is HOLMES, and earlier on this month the singer-songwriter shared his dazzling debut single, "If It Was Up To Me".

"If It Was Up To Me" is big future summer-jam in the waiting!

For a debut single this gets right to the good stuff without any timewasting, his vocals are so soulful and smooth and grip you right from the first word. The voice here reminds me of Catfish's and the Bottlemen's Van McCann in places with the sugary pop goodness found in Matty Healy's tones.

The chorus is straight up anthem, big guitar sections and drumbeats that can draw a crowd to jump up and down. It's her when you can imagine a big tent filled of festival goers going mental, there's a big future summer-jam waiting to explode here!

With inspirations from Fatherson, Sam Fender and Catfish and the Bottlemen all making a showing here we feel that HOLMES is onto something big. One banger down, plenty more to come!
