Touch the Clouds return with their second track of the year, and this time round it's the soaring new single, "Tension". Still flabbergasted by the fact that they've not released anything more than a single since 2013 the Detroit band are actually now releasing a new LP, which is due out later this year (or early 2023).
The new single is lifted from said LP - which is set to feature lo less than 15 songs on it - and is a big flavour of what's to come. You can expect huge alt-rock guitar moments with commanding vocals, relatable lyrics that you can sing back at your hearts-content and choruses that will want to make you crank up the volume.
Speaking about the new tune they say - " ... "Tension" explores the moments when we find ourselves caught up in the relentless tug of war between hustle culture and the self-care movement. The constant push and pull of everyday, modern life often leaves us yearning for solace, regardless of outcome, like the reset snap of an earthquake restores balance to the fault line."
If you're a fan of Biffy Clyro, Band of Horses and Catfish and the Bottlemen then "Tension" will be right up your alley - so give it a spin and crank up the volume!
