The UNCRTN unveil sugary new rock tune "Forget About Me"

Blending sugary-pop hooks and rock edge is The UNCRTN with their slick new tune, "Forget About Me", which is the third release from the New York based band this year.

Following on from the success of breaking past the 40,000 play mark on Spotify this new offering sounds like the band is coming of age. Sitting in at under three minutes long it doesn't hang about to get down to the good bits, vocals are clean and crisp - all backed up with some glistening synths.

it's something that reminds me of Maneskin's punch mixed with Paramore's soaring vocal tones.

As soon as you get to the chorus the track drops in with a massive wall of guitar sounds, it's something that reminds me of Maneskin's punch mixed with Paramore's soaring vocal tones - it's basically just shy of three minutes of pure pop-rock.

Bassist Tyler Magrone mentions - "It’s basically a song about getting away from stuff that brings you down and tries to change who you are as a person. A reflective moment in life when you realize you have stopped connecting with the group of people/friends you have grown up with"

With a solid following in the local scene it sounds like they're looking to go beyond their state and go beyond into the whole of the USA, so be sure to keep an eye on them!
