Hailing all the way from Anglesey in North West Wales is Blindness & Light, and the outfit has recently shared an alternative mix of their debut single "Chains" Titled "Chains (Old Town Mix)" the new mix is more of what the track might sound like in a parallel universe.
... the idea is to hopefully transfer them from casual listeners to fans in the space of the six minutes the track lasts for. For me I didn't need the six minutes, I knew it was amazing from the first 30 seconds.
The new mix was done by those legends at KEEF and has given the track a second lease at life, with the sounds heard here being even baggier than before, adding expansive soundscapes to help create an atmosphere that can rival the very best baggy acts from the 1990s - we're looking at you The Stone Roses and Happy Mondays!!
