Coming out of Cleveland, OH (but now based in Nashville) we have Dominic Rodio and today is the release of his delightful new tune, "Strawberry Head". The new tune is the third release Dominic has been a part of this year and is a diamond in the rough as far as 90s influenced rock goes.
It's an incredibly upbeat slice of nostalgia, and with the 90s sound coming back I'm sure this'll be the track people discover Dominic Rodio's sound with.
The intro is a real heavy one, but don't worry it's not going to stay that way as when the vocals come in the guitars become more twangy and vibrant. There's a subtle flavor of The Smashing Pumpkins here with the approach of the track, and especially in the chorus there is lots of amazing nostalgia floating about.
Speaking about the song he mentions - "The song follows a sibling rivalry story between myself and my little sister and it's titled after a nickname she gave me when we were kids. It's a concept that is easy to relate to, as many people have dealt with similar situations."
