Rising out of Limerick in Ireland is an exciting new trio hoping to fly the flag high not just for Munster but for the whole of Ireland. The trio had a booming debut single titled "Never Enough" which got 20k plays on the streaming platforms and saw them get playlisted by several curators and got the boll seriously rolling for this release.
There's something just so damn charming with this song, and we feel like the band is on a bit of a rise if they keep on releasing tracks of this quality.
Left on Read's new offering, "Pick Yourself Up", reminds me strongly of Panic! At The Disco - especially with the vocals and piano keys at the start - mixed with the opulent tones of The Killers early work.
It's one of those foot-tapping songs that eventually gets stuck in your head and makes you start humming it. If the band continues to release songs of this caliber, there is something inherently endearing about them that makes us believe they are on the rise.
