Rosa Caelum releases new single, "The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave"

Coming out of the West Midlands in England is Rosa Caelum with their new single, "The Lovers Were The Last Ones To Leave".

Technically this is their debut single as the two previous releases on Spotify have both been demos, but it's good they've done that as new fans can hear the journey they have already been on as a band.

What Rosa Caelum has done here is create one heck of an upbeat indie-rock anthem, and we feel like it's going to propel them to the front of their local music scene - and who knows, maybe even beyond!

Literally, as soon as you press play you're welcomed with a strong guitar that sounds like it's been bathed in steel as it's so dominant and present. The intertwining guitars and bass both complement each other and once the chorus gives way you've got some frantic drums mixed with some soulful vocal tones.

You're taken through a bit of a genre shift here with some groovy and bouncy guitars entering the fold, something akin to that of Two Door Cinema Club one might suggest.

What Rosa Caelum has done here is create one heck of an upbeat indie-rock anthem, and we feel like it's going to propel them to the front of their local music scene - and who knows, maybe even beyond! Whirling guitars, frantic drumming, and commanding vocals, yeah, they're onto something.
