The Kiss That Took A Trip shares the new song, "We Are What We Protect"

Madrid-based artist The Kiss That Took A Trip has unveiled their tender new offering, "We Are What We Protect".

... a cinematic six-minute slow burn, blending Britpop nostalgia, soaring synths, and heartfelt intimacy.

The six-minute epic does not hold back, and you'll certainly feel that from the start of the song. The mixture of vocals and strong piano chords reminded me a lot of a certain Britpop band from the 1990s. The acoustic guitar really added to those feelings, and as the track develops, you too will get that warm feeling inside of you.

It's a very cinematic slow-burner with lots of soft-pop moments mixed in with soaring synths that add to the sheer atmosphere. With heartfelt lyrics and an intimate palette throughout, it's a gentle reminder that some of these underrated artists are just as powerful as the best in the business. So do be sure to get stuck into this slow-burning emotional song.
