Coming out of Edmonton in Alberta, Canada is Selfish Bodies with their latest track, "Hideous". The new single comes off the back of their 2022 effort, "Bambi Legs", which also acts as this single's B-side.
The moody new track is certainly that, moody, with plenty of vocal hooks adorning the single for the duration. Heart-stopping gorgeous vocals roll over the track and they're honestly some of the best and most emotive vocals I've heard on a Dark-Pop track for a while.

Instrumentally it's got some RnB beats dotted about it, with some more organic elements brining it back down to earth with the tickle of piano keys heard throughout too. It's one heck of a genre-blending song and the results are mind-blowing. With this being their first outing of 2023 I'm sure we will be hearing more from them in the next 12 months!
