The Window View reveals baggy debut single, "Sunset Paradise"

On the very last day of 2022 saw The Window View release their debut single, "Sunset Paradise", and let's be honest we're all thinking the same thing - it's going to be soundtracking our year!

The infectious new single has elements lifted from the likes of Tame Impala, Oasis, and The Stone Roses. Perhaps the Oasis comparison is worth considering as in their press release they titled it as a 'Knebworth-inspired single'.

We feel like if they release more great tunes like this then they're going to be soundtracking our year!

Vocally it's nasally much like Liam Gallagher's but blended with some more hazy tones that give it that baggy and psychy feel. Instrumentally it's got jangly guitars washed all over it backed up with some cascading drums that fill up every millisecond of the song.

For a debut single, this is very impressive, and we will watch them with the closest of eyes. The track is also backed up with a b-side (to help you get into them even more), titled "Iris Yard" it's a frantic track that kicks a punch too, and certainly worth a listen if you like your high-tempo indie-rock.

Speaking about the single vocalist Evan Barlow mentions - "When The Window View formed, my personal goal was to have a song written, recorded, and to be available on streaming platforms by the time 2022 came to an end. This song isn’t just The Window Views song, It’s yours too!"
