Brooklyn singer-songwriter Dash Hammerstein last Friday shared his arty new single, "Silence, Memory", which is the first slice of music from the American since he dropped his EP "Time Travel/Hot Pretzel" back in 2022.

"Silence, Memory" is a quirky affair with plenty of interesting hooks to get your ears tickled. The intro is delightful and is very folky with it's charming guitar loop and organic drumbeats. Vocally this track is hazy, but it helps to bring in the warmth.
There are strong comparisons to the likes of Tame Impala, Everything Everything and even David Bowie with how smitten we felt at the end.
