Dublin-based signer-songwriter Dubh Lee released her latest single just a few days ago, titled "Holly Would" it acts as her second release of the year and is a bold track with a very serious story at the heart of it.
Honest, soulful and truly captivating - it transverses genres and will win over anyone who listens to it.
The track explores domestic abuse with the music video especially showing us her tied up on a rail track, signifying to us that domestic abuse feels like you're stuck in a place waiting for it all to just suddenly end.
The single (even with its narrative) is still a warm and soulful affair with delicate guitars draped with some cinematic strings. Add in her stunning vocals and it becomes one of those singles that can transverse genres and win over anyone who listens to it.
Recorded at Hellfire Studio in Dublin, it is the second single from her debut EP, "Animals and Friends" - with the release date to be announced soon. If you love what you hear then be sure to follow her on the socials as she's got some live shows already lined up for April and May 2023
