The London-based trio of Echo Hotel have just last week revealed their new single, "Yesterday's News". The rack also acts as their first outing since 2021's single "Hives", but as far as it goes with us they've kept their alt-rock sound and have enhanced it even more-so. Since 2021 the band added a saxophonist to their line-up to take their music to the next level.
... similar to that of Alt-J, Palace and even Radiohead in places too.
So, "Yesterday's News" is their new single and it's got some moody bass tones blended with light and airy guitars. Crisp production is boosted with the strong vocal lines, and with some dark synth tones underlining it all the track really sticks out from others in the alt-pop/rock genre - it's similar to that of Alt-J, Palace and even Radiohead in places too.
The laid back tack is certainly going to win the hearts of many, and is certainly going to put their name on the local scene once again - so do be sure to keep an eye on Echo Hotel!
