Following on from their single, "Georgia", earlier in the year, The Band Cope just Friday went dropped their new stand-out new single, "Fake". Much like the previous cut, the thick bass and guitar lines stay, with a delicate blend of commanding lead vocals and charming backing vocals.
"Fake" is equally grunge, dream-pop, and surf - but genres aside all we knew when we first gave this a listen is how much we warmed to it.
When the drumbeat kicks in the track ups the anti and the tempo rise, it's here that I can see a mosh-pit forming at their live shows. It's once again a great example as to why this Californian trio is on the rise, and with every release passing by they're dropping bigger tunes one after another!
