Benedict October reveals personal new single, "Insomnia"

Back with a bang is  Benedict October with their personal new single, "Insomnia". The new track is the first release since the 2021 EP, "Here's What I Forgot" was released, and it's a mighty slice of dreamy indie-rock.

Grand and dreamy, this'll touch your heart within the first play!

With a strong following on Spotify I can see this track getting some serious plays, and with his vocals winning me over a soon as the first word left his mouth I'm sure this will be forever a track that he will have in his setlists. I get big Editors vibes from this, the blend of vocal approach with the raw lyrics and approach with the instrumentations.

Speaking about the track he mentions - "With "Insomnia" I would like to honour my father who passed away in the autumn of 2020. It’s my way to thank him for all he has done for me and my family. It’s my way to keep him close." Lifted from his forthcoming album, "And Then The Ocean", this is a prime example of the strong music scene that Amsterdam has - it's not all nightclubs!
