Having launched their debut single back in May of 2023 Short Porch dropped one more track last year, but it looks like they're not hanging about this year as they've already released their strong new track, "Frank". The new single is yet another taste of their debut album "The best of...Short Porch vol. 1" (suggesting they have plenty more tunes prepped for another album).
Psychedelic sounds blended with an alt-rock mixture of guitars and percussion.
The track has a lot going for it, and initially, the vibrant guitars dance around the drums like a raver at a party. Vocally it's on the darker side but the psychedelic undertones work so damn well, a slight quiver in the voice but that adds to the atmosphere just perfectly so.
With the band generating some buzz in their local scene they'll now be headlining a night at Brooklyn Made on the 1st of February in just under a month - so if you like this (like you damn well should) be sure to check them out live.
