Coming out of Nottingham is Paper Daisies and the trip has recently dropped their big new tune, "Take What You Need". What makes this track even more amazing is that it's the follow-up to their 2020 debut, so to say that they've been keeping their fans waiting may seem like an understatement.

The start of the track is incredibly chunky, and in a way almost offers up an apology to their fans by saying 'Here, enjoy this absolute monster of a riff and huge drums'.
It's very early 90s grunge and with the vocals coming in shortly after the intro the track sounds somewhat alt-rock and even post-punk with some of the tones heard. The pace of the track is great and in all honestly, it sounds like the band should be touring all over the UK with their sound.
