The ever-rising London-based Tally Spear has returned with her brand new anthem, "Want To Want You". The single acts as her second outing of the year, and I tell you what it's certainly keeping the hype alive as this is yet another belter for the guitar-lover in you.
... energetic rock anthems for the masses.
Bursting into life as any pop-punk song from the early 2000's would it's quite the entrance, and right as it starts you can tell this is going to be one heck of a ride.
The genres in here range from the aforementioned pop-punk to alt-rock and everything in between them. When the choruses fade away you're left with a very danceable rock beat which the likes of Bloc Party wouldn't be ashamed to put their name to, but it's when the main chorus comes in the track takes on a new life. Almost imagine Paramore mixed with Sum 41 and Linkin Park (can you tell I grew up in this genre?).
In short, it's a fantastic example of what Tally Spear is all about, energetic rock anthems for the masses - you just need to follow her before she's playing every city in the UK selling out venues.
