Hailing from Newcastle is the explosive trio of Tired of Fighting, and just a couple of days saw the band share their feisty new single, "Branches". Of course, with us dropping the words explosive and feisty all within the opening of the review you'd half expect this to be a frantic guitar-driven anthem, and my goodness it is and more.
The fact that the track is close to a five-minute run time and still made us want more is beyond me, just do yourself a favour and give this a listen!
Almost right away (within a millisecond) the track is filled with pulsating drums and a guitar that can easily fill an arena. It's a great explosive entrance and as soon as the vocals come in it almost confirms this song as a legit rock anthem.
The track comes in two halves, with the song taking a slower pace in the final third, which I can imagine will be well received when the band plays live - to give their fans some rest before it drops and more thrilling towards the end.
