Dave MacK unveils his debut single, "Green Eyed Monster"

Based out of Bathgate in Scotland is Dave MacK, and the artist has recently unveiled his debut single, "Green Eyed Monster". As far as debut singles go, this was on the same level as the likes of Sam Fender, it's a debut but also feels like he's been releasing music for years already.

Vocally speaking I felt a big smooth hit much like from Liam Fray of The Courteeners, in fact when I had this track lined up on Spotify to listen to I honestly thought it was a new cut from the Manchester act.

Speaking about the song Dave says via his press release - "It candidly explores the tumultuous emotions and challenges encountered, encapsulating the essence of navigating relationships in a digital age." With some warm and Americana-toned guitars dotted in and around the track, there's certainly a lot of atmosphere on offer here, with the sound similar to that of The Last Shadow Puppets but with a slight amount of synth-pop that The Killers would use, to good effect too.

I guess the conclusion is that this is a very strong debut offering from an artist who sounds like he's been doing this for many years already, so why not join him on his adventure and follow him on the socials!
