Back with a dreamy new single is Pittsburgh-based singer-songwriter Lounna, "Alpenglow" is the new cut and it comes after the release of her recent album, "When I'm Home (Again)". As soon as the track starts you're welcomed in with an ambient soundscape with Lounna's mesmerising vocals caressing your ears like a newborn baby.
Tender, delicate and dreamy.
The whole approach to the song is tender and delicate, with even the strums of the guitars and the hits on the drums feeling almost pillowed out enough that you can doze off to this incredibly relaxing slice of Folk-Rock.
Add into the mix of banjos and the track straddles the lines of country, Americana, folk and acoustic wonderfully with the perfect amount of electric guitar added to engage those fans who lean more towards the indie-rock genre.
Speaking of the song she says - "I wrote this song as musical poetry about looking on a past love through rose-colored glasses. The bridge builds steadily to emphasize the pain of loss. My spouse is recovering from cancer and the fears are real."
This single is also the first official release from her upcoming sophomore record "Garden For Winter", due out on the 31st of January 2025.
