DEAD TOOTH drop their big new single, "Birthday Boohoo"

Hailing from Queens in New York is the exciting DEAD TOOTH, and recently the quintet have released their exciting new single, "Birthday Boohoo". For me on the first play I would have thought that the track was written by a band in the UK as the accent on the track sounds slightly punk with bursts of horns dotted here and there (which was a very big thing in London during the 80s to add into punk tunes).

A mixture of nostalgic sounds and brass instruments to get a casual listener turned into a fan within the five minute runtime.

With over 100k streams to their name so far the track kicks off with an absolute thrill and really sets the tone for the remainder of the song. As mentioned earlier there is a lot of horn noises going on, and the slightly fuzzy sound they give off really helps to set this track aside from others within the genre (and their scene), which ultimately give the listener plenty to get stuck into.

The single is released with a remix of the same song by A Place To Bury Strangers, even though we're not a fan of remixes of songs this one is bucking the trend as it offers another angle of the song to explore.

The band are also set to play a few shows in the UK in November on 15th at the London’s Shacklewell Arms, 16th in Manchester at Big Hands and 17th at Nottingham’s Saltbox - so head down and check them out if you can, as with the amount of high energy hooks this has I'm sure they'll leave those venues trembling!
