Hailing from Niagra Falls in Canada it's MayFall, and not too long ago saw the outfit release their new single, "Different Lanes". The new cut from the Canadian quartet is just their second-ever track to be released, with it following on from their successful debut "Fly Wall".
"Different Lanes," blends 90s nostalgia with emotive melodies, making it the perfect gateway into their sound.
The new offering has a slight 90s nostalgia surrounding it, with tones that you'd half expect to hear in films in the mid-90s. The sound is emotive but not to the point it's too much, perfectly balanced I'd say. The guitars on this are clean with a sound that the likes of Feeder used in their slower tunes, and for me that was a great thing for me as I love that band.
It's safe to say that "Different Lanes" may be the perfect gateway track into MayFall's sound, it's great in every aspect and as a new listener you'll be turned into a fan in no time.
