If you're not already aware of it, today is Valentine's Day (14th of February) and it just so happens to be a Friday too. So when you put the two together you tend to get a flurry of love/romantic/relationship-type songs. Nick Cody And The Heartache's brand new track falls into this, titled "This Is Love" it's a great warm sound that'll be sure to get onto your playlists all year round.
... a heartfelt, soft-rock gem with soaring guitars and raw emotion
The opening third is just raw vocal emotion and an electric guitar, and there's plenty of heart in those vocals to get stuck into. Heading towards the halfway point the track becomes more alive with a backing vocal and a percussive section joining in.
It's certainly a top-tier soft-rock track, and when the soaring guitar comes in it'll be sure to keep you holding onto the very end. The sound also reminds me a lot of more classic rock, mainly from the 70's and 80's.
