Police Touch Museum return with the bold new single, "Lover"

Earlier today (21st March) Police Touch Museum released their brand new single, "Lover". The new offering from the Philadelphia-based quintet comes after a two year break, but the quality of the music has not dipped one bit.

... a dreamy, sun-kissed gem blending jangly guitars, hazy surf vibes, and Weezer-esque charm.

From the first single getting released in 2020 the band had a strong string of singles up to late 2023, and after a 18 month gap they sound (possibly) better than ever, well at least in my ears at least. The song is very dreamy with a bright and jangly guitar chiming away throughout the song, all the while backed up with delightful vocal tones that'll grip new listeners as well as old.

The track reminds me of the slower Weezer songs but meeting some hazy surf tones, very much like the British band Blossoms in places if they had more sun-kissed tones and licks of haze.
