Brood22 is based out of Portland in the USA and recetly the artist has dropped the slow-paced gem, "this again".
... a hazy, lo-fi gem blending jazz, shoegaze, and dream-pop into a uniquely haunting and intimate sonic swirl.
The new single is the third release of the year, following on from his debut EP which dropped initially, and it showcases the smooth blend of haunting tones and jazz undertones with a dash of lo-fi production that really sets this track apart from the rest.
The track does have this slight shoegaze underpinning, but with the dreamy guitar wailing away in the background mixed in with the vocals it comes together to create a sound that honestly feels unique to me.
