Fir the Band share their debut single, "Forgetful"

Bursting seamlessly out of the Edinburgh music scene, it's Fir the Band with their epic debut single, "Forgetful". At the time of writing, the single was released so soon they didn't even have any monthly listener stats, and since then it's risen healthily.
... a dreamy blend of clean indie guitars and lush vocals that lands somewhere between The 1975 and DIIV, setting a high bar for what's to come.

"Forgetful" is a clear-cut dream-pop song with plenty of indie-rock sensibilities, with me especially comparing the vocal tones to those of The 1975. The guitar tones on this gave me big early-JAWS, DIIV and ALVVAYS vibes, as they sound so clean and fresh, almost like an out-and-out dream-pop cut.

Even if this wasn't a debut, we'd be shouting from the roof about it, but considering it is, we have to admit this is a great track for them to launch with. The single is backed up with a B-Side cut called "Bologna", and anyone who knows me knows that I love a proper flip-side to a release, so once you're done with this, get ready for the B-side!

Just do yourself a favour; listen to them now!
