We've previously featured Canadian Nick Babcock on the site before, but today sees him share his reimagining of "Without a Sound" by Hunter Sheridan. The original version of "Without a Sound" is a stripped-back and upbeat folk tune written by Hunter Sheridan and reimagined with producer and vocalist Nick Babcock.

Nick Babcock puts a nostalgic, 80s-tinged spin on Hunter Sheridan’s “Without a Sound,” turning the folk original into a dreamy pop anthem.
The new version of the song is getting a re-release, it seems, and it introduces more intimate sounds to the song than the previous. Nick has also added a bit more nostalgic sparkle to it with a slight 1980s sheen to it all, but all the while sticking true to the original.
Nick (who also features some of his vocals on it) says, "It's a quiet, emotional piece about distance and disconnection." So if you liked the original version, we feel like this upbeat take is going to win you over once again!
