Scarlet Joy drops the big new single, "Back for More"

Just last week, we saw Scarlet Joy reveal her new single, "Back for More", and since then, it's had a good rotation on our office playlist! The new cut from the Lincoln artist is very powerful, and even from the get-go, you can hear exactly what you're getting yourself in for, just shy of four minutes of big basslines, haunting vocals, and some guitars that even the likes of Royal Blood would love to call their own.
... a thunderous alt-rock anthem, dripping with dark energy, chunky riffs, and Joy Formidable-meets-Royal Blood swagger. A great teaser of what's to come!

The word "chunky" came to mind, and even on my 'first listen' notes, I jotted that down alongside swirling sounds akin to The Joy Formidable. Add in some dark undertones, and this song sounds like it deserves to be the encore of their show in some hot and sweaty venue in the middle of the summer. It gave me big memories of watching new rock acts at Scala in London in the 2010s.

The bold new track was recorded at Superfly Studios and marks the first release from her upcoming EP, "The Burning Days", so if you like this, then there's more awaiting for you in the coming months!
