Re:O unleashes their latest tune, "Crimson Desire"

London-based band, Re:O, have recently unleashed their latest tune, "Crimson Desire", which is their ninth track since they started releasing music in 2020. First starting out within the synth scene, they've developed their sound along the way, evolving into the dark rock sound you hear now!

... a heavy, anthemic evolution into darker rock territory that is suiting them well!

"Crimson Desire" has quite the impactful opening, with some glitchy bass and a sweeping sound that emerges from the gloomy depths. Teh cut then bursts into life with a chunky guitar dominating proceedings, but it's when the vocals hit you in the first verse that you'll feel the urge to stay for the full duration.

For me, this sounds a bit like the new version of Linkin Park, mixed with ethereal rock vocals that Amy Lee is known for. The song is an out-and-out rock belter, which is a bit of a change-up from their synthy tracks from their early days. "Crimson Desire" showcases Re:O's evolution into heavier territory, so strap in, it's go-time! To me, this is the band cementing their place as one of London's most exciting rising rock acts. If you're craving dark, powerful rock, this is your next rock obsession.
